My journey started out casually in 2014 as I began to explore many different yoga practices to release tension and stress and add more physical movement into my daily adult life. My childhood spent as a dance student lent an easy transition into yoga and I quickly picked up the movement skills . Yet, the demands of life kept me from practicing consistently until 2018 when I embarked on a journey to health to aid in chronic pain management and to develop finer self-care and mental health habits, driving me to realize I needed to make a major life change and started Yoga Union’s 200-hour yoga teacher training. Amid my initial 200-hour training, I also completed Yoga Union co-owner Annie Adamson’s Primal Vinyasa teacher training, to further up level the skills and movement practices I am able to offer as a movement instructor.

I approach yoga movement with excitement and vigor. I am inspired deeply by the teachings and wisdoms found within the yoga community, as well as functional movement, which drives me to continually study. My goal is to teach clients movement skills to use while on their mats and outside the studio. I truly believe in an inner wisdom inherent in our physical bodies and aim to bring this innate wisdom back to life within each client.

In my spare time, I can be found adventuring in the Pacific Northwest with my new husband, being a mom to our three fur babies, and nose deep in a good book.
